Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of BookSeeder and the wider D&H Publishing International EcoSystem (together, "the Services"). By creating an account or using any of the Services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Use of the Services

You may use BookSeeder to create and manage book metadata, generate platform export sheets, and distribute your titles to supported retailers and book clubs. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for ensuring you hold the rights to publish any content you submit.

2. Accounts & Billing

D&H Publishing International registered authors may use the Services free of charge. External users are billed per book or per month depending on the plan selected at checkout. Subscription fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. You can cancel a subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

3. ISBN Sales

ISBNs purchased from the D&H ISBN pool are transferred to your ownership upon payment. Once an ISBN is allocated to a published title it cannot be returned or re-sold through the pool. Unallocated ISBNs may be transferred to another of your own titles but may not be resold to third parties.

4. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to your book content, cover designs, and metadata. D&H Publishing International retains ownership of the BookSeeder platform, its code, branding, and generated export templates. You grant D&H a non-exclusive licence to process and store your metadata solely for the purpose of providing the Services.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Services to publish content that is unlawful, infringes third-party rights, or contains malware. D&H reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided "as is". D&H Publishing International is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of BookSeeder, including lost sales, rejected uploads, or platform outages on third-party retailers. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the preceding 12 months.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or in-app message. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
