D&H Publishing International ("we", "us") operates BookSeeder and the wider D&H Publishing International EcoSystem. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it.

1. Data We Collect

When you register we collect your name, email address, and payment details (processed by Stripe; we never store your card number). When you create book records we store the metadata, contributor details, keywords, ISBNs, and any files you upload (manuscripts, covers, interiors). We also collect basic usage analytics such as which features you use and when you log in.

2. Why We Use Your Data

We use your data to provide the Services, process payments, generate platform export sheets, allocate ISBNs, and communicate with you about your account. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

3. File Storage

Manuscripts, covers, and interior files you upload are stored securely and are only accessible to you and to D&H staff when providing support. We do not share your files with third-party retailers; export sheets contain metadata only, and you upload files to each platform yourself.

4. Cookies

BookSeeder uses essential cookies to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising cookies.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time. Book records and files are deleted within 30 days of account closure.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You also have the right to data portability and to object to certain processing. See our GDPR page for full details of your rights.

7. Security

We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS compliant.
